Day 11....Wednesday May 20, 2015

We had a nice breakfast at our Inn then went on a hunt for a Post Office….we still had to pay bills even though we were on the road!  After that we cruised to Lee & Brenda’s home to visit.  It’s interesting how you can be separated from someone for a while but when you get together again in about 5 min it’s like you were never separated….I have known Lee since 1963, as I said on page 6, he is the reason I met Linda!  We used to do car things together, we both worked at the same home builder together.  Except for when Lee went to Vietnam in the Army, we were together a lot.   I enlisted Lee’s help to go on a quest for another memory card for Linda’s camera; I didn’t think it would be a problem.  We went to Best Buy, Radio Shack and a couple other “electronic/camera” stores and were met with the same response.  “That’s too old”  “We don’t sell THOSE anymore”…..or….”I never saw anything like that”.   Her camera is an Olympus point & shoot Stylus 800 that’s about 12 years old!  Since we couldn’t find a card I decided to only use my camera till we got one, I started getting nervous about the memory storage process in her camera.  I would order the card online the next day from Ron & Jean’s and have it sent to Steve & Vicki’s in Florida, our last stop on the journey.  Lee & I drove around for a few hours on our quest then returned to his home to visit.  Later in the day we tried out the local Outback restuarant, then said our goodbyes and returned to our Inn.  We just had a pleasant day catching up with old friends….it is, after all, a vacation!
